WRAP IT IN RIBBON FOR CHRISTMAS

I have several birthday cards to make but first I wanted to join in with this week's Daring Cardmakers challenge.....to make a Christmas card using ribbons. Here is my interpretation. I am not in a Christmassy mood at all yet so not sure what I think of it! The papers are Pink Petticoat chocolate and teal.

DCM 1st Anniversary Circle of Friends

First of all....congratulations to the Daring Cardmakers team. I enjoyed looking at their wonderful creations for some time before joining in recently. I had no idea the group had only been in existence for a year! Here is my circle of friends card using a bunny stamp stamped onto a white circle of card using purple Versafine ink. Just added a bit of colour with a pink brush marker and a bit of glitz with a Sakura clear Stardust pen. The torn paper is by HOTP and I have no idea where the little pink flower is from. I think the joy sticker is by K & Co. Just realised I've done it again! (used my 2 favourite colours...pink and lilac!) That is how I came up with the name for my blog....just couldn't think of anything else at the time!

Baby Girl Card

I enjoyed making this card for my new great niece....the first one I have made using acetate as the card blank. I am always happy when I can use my favourite colours (pink and lilac) and am happy with the result overall.....bit of a nightmare getting fingerprints off acetate though!

WILD THINGS

It seems like a very long time since I posted anything on here. We have been minus internet for a while but back on now so I checked out Friday's Daring Cardmakers challenge and here is the result (card with a wild animal theme). The polar bear is printed on furry paper but difficult to tell from the scan.
