PDCC49

This is my card for The Play Date Cafe Sketch Challenge #49 and although I didn't think I would like the colour combination initially I think they go together well and will probably use these shades again.  All the stamps are from Waltzingmouse's Homespun Hugs set and the inks are Memento black and Promarkers.  As far as embellishments are concerned, I was going to stick a couple of buttons on the flower centres but in the end I settled for Ranger Matte Accents and a length of co-ordinating ricrac ribbon.

Such a beautiful card. Love those flowers and especially the frayed edges of the Ricrac. It lends the card a gorgeous texture. Px

Such a sweet card. Those stamps remind me of growing up when I did my sewing lessons at school! Great job and love the sentiment too! The ribbon works so well. Thanks for playing along with us at the PDCC!

Your card is so pretty! Love how you used the color combo. I wasn't sure I was going to like those colors together myself, but they are a really pretty mix! I like the fun shape of your card, too! :)
